TERMS OF SERVICE
To trial a class, you will need to register an account with our class manager portal. Upon registering an account, it will ask you to accept the below terms & conditions waiver at Dance Dimension.
Please take care in reading our terms & conditions before enrolling at Dance Dimension.
All terms are in place to enable safe dance practice, deliver excellent classes, maintain standards, enable longevity & to maintain all overheads of Dance Dimension.
Upon enrolling into classes at Dance Dimension, a legally binding agreement is formed, and your attendance at our classes will be strictly subject to full cooperation with these terms.
Please note that if any student is in material or persistent breach of any of these terms and conditions, we reserve the right immediately to terminate the contract with you and/or exclude you from attending further classes until such time that the matter can be resolved or the agreement is terminated, without further liability to you.
FINANCIAL
TRIAL CLASSES
- All students are welcome to trial a class in each genre.
- There is a trial charge per class: Tap, Ballet, Jazz & Zumba - £8.50. This is then deducted off your invoice if you enroll in the class, resulting in the trial being FREE.
- The trial payment needs to be paid in advance & cannot be refunded once paid. If you cannot attend your original trial date, Dance Dimension will be happy to move this date once (as long as the class list is not full).
- You are welcome to trial more than one class, but each class will need to be paid for.
- Once a trial class has been attended, you will be asked if you would like to accept a permanent space at Dance Dimension.
ENROLLING INTO DANCE DIMENSION
- Dance Dimension charges termly tuition fees. (Pilates classes are Pay As You Go)
- Fees are invoiced for the full term for each class enrolled in and are payable by BACS. Account details are provided on invoices. We are unable to accept payment in the form of cheques.
- Invoices will be emailed to each class member at the end of the term for the following term.
- Payment may be made in two installments if preferred. Please contact the principal to set up this option.
- All fees are due and settled within two weeks of the start of term.
- If an invoice is not settled by the 2nd week of term, any discount/s will be removed, and a £15 admin fee for late payment will be added to your invoice.
- If a payment plan has been set up with the Principal, the 1st payment must be paid 2 weeks after the start of the term, with the 2nd installment due by the first week of the 2nd half-term. Late payments will incur an additional fee.
- Any fees not paid within the timeframe will result in classes being withheld, and legal action may be taken.
- Fees are only pro-rata when a student starts during a term.
- All fees remain payable whether or not you attend the classes; there are NO reductions or refunds for any missed classes under any circumstances.
Payments
- A platform fee is added to all invoices.
- AUTO PAY is available, where Dance Dimension will bill your account 3-5 working days before the term starts to allow clearance time.
- Any issues with autopay require immediate written contact via email to emmasharp.inbox@gmail.com.
- If autopay fails, you must update card details and pay manually; a 15% late fee applies if not addressed promptly.
- Manual Pay requires you to remember to pay before the invoice due date, as late fees may apply.
NOTICE
- Written notice by email is required half a term in advance to withdraw from Dance Dimension or any class/es.
- If no notice is provided, your space will be retained, and you will be charged for the next term’s tuition.
- During summer, consider advance notice if unsure about the Autumn Term.
- If you withdraw without notifying Dance Dimension, you are liable for half a term’s fees.
CLASSES
- Spaces are rolled over to the next term automatically.
- We break for school holidays, offering workshops or classes during these times.
- Any changes to class schedules will be communicated by email.
- If a student changes or adds classes mid-term, Dance Dimension requires written consent for invoice adjustments.
PRIVATE LESSONS
- Payment is required prior to the lesson, with bookings available up to 48 hours in advance.
- Cancellations need 48 hours’ notice.
- Private lessons can accommodate up to 4 students.
REFUNDS
- Refunds apply only to canceled classes that cannot be rescheduled.
- No refunds for missed classes, illness, or if rescheduled dates cannot be attended.
- Force majeure events (like pandemics or natural disasters) affecting classes do not entitle refunds.
DISCOUNTS
- Discounts are offered for multi-discipline students and families with multiple members attending Dance Dimension.
CANCELLED CLASSES
- Instructors will attempt to find cover for absences. If a class is canceled, an alternative date will be offered.
- No refunds for missed rescheduled classes.
ABSENCES/LATE
- Notify absences or lateness via text to 07931 910655, which will be shared with the relevant teacher.
- Attendance records are kept for health and safety purposes.
STUDENT WELLBEING
- Dance Dimension follows updated Safeguarding/Health & Safety policies, ensuring all staff are DBS-checked with a first aider on site.
- Tactile instruction may be used as a teaching method, with respect to student comfort.
- A first aid kit is available, but Dance Dimension is not liable for injuries outside of reasonable control.
